Há amigos asssim, de longa data, que nos enchem de orgulho, o Joaquim Paulo é dessas pessoas que mesmo estando longe do olhar tem sempre um cantinho especial no coração.
O livro do Joaquim, “Jazz Covers” foi considerado o melhor livro de Jazz , em França, tendo-lhe sido atribuído pela Académie de Jazz o PRIX DU LIVRE DE JAZZ 2008. A cerimónia oficial de entrega do prémio vai aconteçer a 18 de Janeiro de 2009, no Grand Foyer Théâtre du Châtelet de Paris.

Tempo de mudança

Depois do Crash, ou melhor da morte súbita do meu PC, com gigas e gigas de musica, uma grande parte digitalizada de vinil, que durante meses me deu um trabalho titânico, com uma fortuna gasta em compras on line, com promos, algumas raras, com musica ainda por editar, com todos os programas "Agua & Sal" lá dentro e com a dura perspectiva de tudo estar perdido, passei uma semana negra, até que se fez luz!!! PC's "jamais"! como disse o Senhor Ministro, mas eu não volto com a palavra a trás.

Há já muito que andava para mudar para a Apple mas a desgraça precipitou a mudança, agora já mais calmo e depois de perceber que os discos rígidos não foram afectados e perdi "apenas" alguns dados... dois meses de e-mails, uns quantos documentos, contactos importantes e certificados digitais... nada de especial... a musica, essa sobreviveu.

Este está a ser um grande passo, mais simples e fácil que eu pensava, mesmo assim vão ser precisas muitas horas para “transladar” ou melhor para “ressuscitar” tudo aquilo que restou daquela “besta” com o Windows dentro.

Em apenas algumas horas rendi-me ao Steve Jobs e á beleza dos produtos da Apple, para já foi este belíssimo e potente iMac.

Mas a inquietação acontece quando, agora mesmo, vi que foram lançados há apenas umas horas novos MacBook e MacBook Pro, quero ter um!!!

Procura-se patrocinador!!! Urgente!
