Esta é a última edição de 2008 que começou a apenas 2 horas no novo ano, uma edição alargada que serve também de "Warm Up" para a Festa de passagem de Ano da Mix.
Do Nu Disco ao Deep House estes foram alguns dos sons que mais me fascinaram ao longo destes últimos meses, não é uma lista dos melhores do ano, longe disso, são apenas os sons que me apetece tocar no momento antes da passagem para 2009.

Há amigos asssim, de longa data, que nos enchem de orgulho, o Joaquim Paulo é dessas pessoas que mesmo estando longe do olhar tem sempre um cantinho especial no coração.
O livro do Joaquim, “Jazz Covers” foi considerado o melhor livro de Jazz , em França, tendo-lhe sido atribuído pela Académie de Jazz o PRIX DU LIVRE DE JAZZ 2008. A cerimónia oficial de entrega do prémio vai aconteçer a 18 de Janeiro de 2009, no Grand Foyer Théâtre du Châtelet de Paris.

Tempo de mudança

Depois do Crash, ou melhor da morte súbita do meu PC, com gigas e gigas de musica, uma grande parte digitalizada de vinil, que durante meses me deu um trabalho titânico, com uma fortuna gasta em compras on line, com promos, algumas raras, com musica ainda por editar, com todos os programas "Agua & Sal" lá dentro e com a dura perspectiva de tudo estar perdido, passei uma semana negra, até que se fez luz!!! PC's "jamais"! como disse o Senhor Ministro, mas eu não volto com a palavra a trás.

Há já muito que andava para mudar para a Apple mas a desgraça precipitou a mudança, agora já mais calmo e depois de perceber que os discos rígidos não foram afectados e perdi "apenas" alguns dados... dois meses de e-mails, uns quantos documentos, contactos importantes e certificados digitais... nada de especial... a musica, essa sobreviveu.

Este está a ser um grande passo, mais simples e fácil que eu pensava, mesmo assim vão ser precisas muitas horas para “transladar” ou melhor para “ressuscitar” tudo aquilo que restou daquela “besta” com o Windows dentro.

Em apenas algumas horas rendi-me ao Steve Jobs e á beleza dos produtos da Apple, para já foi este belíssimo e potente iMac.

Mas a inquietação acontece quando, agora mesmo, vi que foram lançados há apenas umas horas novos MacBook e MacBook Pro, quero ter um!!!

Edição que marca o regresso do norueguês, Hans-Peter Lindstrøm ou simplesmente Lindstrøm, musico e produtor que nunca escondeu o fascínio pela electrónica e pelo “Disco” e que vai este mês de Agosto editar o seu primeiro álbum a solo, um disco peculiar com apenas 3 temas com durações entre os 10 e os 30 minutos cada. Lindstrøm já disse que este é um disco ideal para ouvir em caminhadas, em viagens de carro ou avião... talvez seguindo velhos conceitos de Brian Eno... Nesta edição assinala-se o segundo aniversário do Agua e Sal, dois anos é muito tempo, mas parece que foi ontem que começou esta viagem pelo reino da musica electrónica do Nu-Jazz do Break-beat e do House, muito obrigado a todos que têm contribuído para existência do programa e pela receptividade a sonoridades menos obvias no panorama da rádio em Portugal, espero continuar a proporcionar esta aproximação a outras culturas sonoras e provocar novas emoções.

E vão 100 programas, 100 edições a mostrar o que de melhor se vai fazendo na musica, do Nu-Jazz ao Electrónico e que habitualmente não toca na rádio, não só em Portugal mas em todo o lado, são poucos os sortudos que têm a liberdade para o fazer, em especial numa Rádio privada de cobertura Nacional que tem como principal objectivo ser a Rádio mais ouvida em Portugal, a Rádio Comercial não o é, mas de uma coisa tenho a certeza, é hoje, a melhor Rádio Portuguesa e é com enorme orgulho que faço parte daquele projecto que permite esta “ilha” chamada “Agua & Sal”.
